He Was A Friend Of Mine - Bob Dylan - Documents Of Bob Dylan (CD)

The front does, however, have a nice full color concert photo of Dylan (albeit from the wrong decade). The final complaint is that the disc contains a minimal amount of songs. All tracks from d could easily have been combined onto this disc to create one continuous playing CD .

He recorded the song on his Folkways album Rolf Cahn & Eric von Schmidt, where the song was titled "He Was a Friend of Mine" for the first time. [3] Bob Dylan picked up the song from the Cahn recording and made some changes to it when he recorded it for his debut album Bob Dylan on Novem.

Dylan harp keys. Christer Svensson has compiled a list of the keys of all the Dylan songs featuring a harp on the official albums. Very impressive work! I haven’t double-checked it, but it seems right. General remarks Below is a list of the harp keys used on Dylan’s albums.

Liner notes: Introduction. For most of those fabulous '60s, to be a bona-fide, hard-core, full paid-up Bob Dylan fan didn't demand much more than buying the records, enthusing about the songs and Dylan's singing to incredulous friends and puzzled parents, dreaming about one day seeing him in concert, and always waiting, with tetchy impatience, for news of what he was up to.
